Specialist areas: Paediatrics, complex neurological conditions, upper limb injuries, ergonomics / postural management, vocational rehabilitation, environmental assessment and adaptations

A qualified occupational therapist with 15 years' experience across a variety of disciplines, Andrew established VocWell Ltd in 2008. Prior to this he held a number of senior roles within the NHS, not for profit organisations and private sector companies, as well lecturing in Occupational Therapy at the University of the West of England between 2004 and 2007.

With significant case management experience for a wide range of physical and learning difficulties, Andrew has particular expertise in dealing with complex neurological conditions, physical injuries and paediatrics. He has also acted as a consultant on small and large scale architectural and environmental adaptations.

Having previously managed a vocational rehabilitation service, Andrew has specialist knowledge in implementing safe and structured return to work programmes, designing injury prevention programmes and performing a range of workplace assessment. He has a keen interest in ergonomics / postural management, environmental assessment and musculoskeletal disorders.



Paul North



Specialist areas: Job retention, vocational rehabilitation, management of mental health problems brokering and coordinating care provision

Dually qualified as an occupational therapist and counsellor, Paul has more than 11 years' experience assessing and treating a range of mental health problems including depression, anxiety, psychotic states and mood disorders.

He has in depth experience in designing and carrying out specialist assessment within the fields of vocational rehabilitation and mental health.

During the past four years Paul has managed a vocational rehabilitation team within NHS community mental health services and he chairs a special interest group for professionals engaged in vocational rehabilitation within the NHS Trust. He is currently undertaking further research into job retention.

He is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.



Sheena Jones



Specialist areas: Complex psychosocial and physical conditions, vocational rehabilitation, supported employment

A qualified occupational therapist for over 25 years, Sheena has worked in a variety of environments, including community teams, general hospitals’ specialised units, residential homes and educational institutions on behalf of statutory, voluntary and independent organisations.

She has experience delivering high quality support to people with both psychosocial and physical challenges and has a special interest in services for people with learning difficulties or complex needs. In addition to her case management role at VocWell, Sheena also works as a consultant for an independent organisation which provides support to people with learning disabilities, mental health problems and challenging behaviour.

Sheena has considerable experience in assessment and the formulation / implementation of intervention and care programmes - through periods of transition, rehabilitation and resettlement - for people with complex needs. She is particularly focussed on enabling and facilitating occupation and promoting employment for disabled people through vocational rehabilitation and supported employment.



Lucy Cory



Specialist areas: Upper limb injuries, pain management, complex physical challenges

Having held a number of clinical roles since qualifying as an occupational therapist in 1998, Lucy has a wide range of physical rehabilitation experience. Her primary area of expertise is upper limb functional difficulties with a special interest in pain management, burns management and rheumatology.

Lucy has solid experience in a range of assessment tools and in the formulation of holistic rehabilitation plans for people with complex needs.
