The Case Management Society UK (CMSUK) and the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM) launched a joint Code of Ethics for Case Managers at the House of Lords on the 25th June 2008. This important development in the growth of the case management profession can be seen as key in ensuring people who have experienced trauma and injury are given every opportunity to regain quality of life. The Code is designed to be brief and a focussed working tool to guide practice. For further information please click here.
The rehabilitation standards drawn up by the United Kingdom Rehabilitation Council (UKRC) will be for use by commissioners and users of rehabilitation services, to help them choose the most appropriate providers of these services.
